Registration and Other Details
Chicago New Media Summit : Monday, September 15th, 2008 : 8:00 am : REGISTRATION
Registration opens at 8:00am each morning.
You may arrive at any time for a presentation you wish to see.
The 300 Theater seats are first-come basis and your fee may not guarantee you a seat, we advise that you arrive early. Each Presentation is 18 Minutes long, with a 2 minute intro and a 10 Minute Break. The entire event takes place in the MCA Theater. The breaks will include audio and visual presentations.
Once you have registered, the rest is easy. Your badge will be available at the Registration Table.
You may register at the door for a 2-Day, 1-Day or Social Event pass, however, the Summit Event is nearing capacity (300). The Social Event capacity is 1000.
Event Day Registration Fees:
Both Summit days and Social Event ($260)
One Summit day only ($160)
Social Event ($20)
At the door you may pay with cash or credit card.
Parking: There are pay lots attached to the MCA and in the surrounding ares.
Restaurants: There are dozens of Chicago's best eateries within walking distance. Wolfgang Pucks serves food inside the Museum.
Coat Check: There is free coat check on the Museum Level.
WiFi: There is free WiFi throughout the MCA.
Photography: There is no flash photography inside the theater during presentations. The Museum strictly prohibits photographing or video taping the art of the museum.
The Summit is the property of Chicago New Media Summit Council, which has applied for private 501(c) 3 nonprofit status, and will continue to foster and award projects and presentations that unite diverse industries and individuals in new ways to encourage regional and global contributions.
Registration Fees are non-refundable.
